012: Duodecim First looks from the Demo view.

Got Cloud last night. Fun times. Of course, the game decided to throw me against Tifa while I was using Kefka. It turned into a Scatter Spray Blizzaga spam (till I brave broke her), followed by Havoc Wing until I managed to connect.

I'm really digging WoL's third outfit, the one that is based upon his sprite.

I wish SE would focus on making GOOD games for a change....

If you don't like the stuff they have brought out recently, why do you still buy them?

I, for one, don't get too wrapped up in the whole process of comparing one FF game to another. So, to me, each game is good. Some may not be as good as others are, but they are all still good. I have never gotten a FF game where I thought "OMG, why did I buy this?", not even X-2.

Eh, whatever though, to each their own.

Got the demo last Friday. ^^
Lightning is a rather good character. XIII is the only FF i didn't played yet so i was a teeny tiny lost about the pandagrims shifts but get used really quickly. She had a good balance of attacks but her Ravager's magic are a bit too slow in my opinion(Watera is like The Emperor's Flare but as a bravery attack) Medic is for getting extra bravery only, so i recommand using it ONLY when your opponent is REALLY FAR AWAY form you.

For Kain, i had unexpect fun with him. You have to be accurate about your foe's position in the air or on the ground in order to deliver succesfully his attacks. By the hands of someone who mastered him he could be quite a treat. And i really enjoy jumping and impaling everyone. XD

-The assist system is not a bad addition. I'm starting to get the hang of it but it require diffrents startegy depending on the character you having as assist.

-The EX-gauge takes more time to be filled up. I found that sad since EX-Bursts are eye-candy for me. But it had to leave the spotlight for the assist sytem wich is not a bad thing.

-EX-revenge are interesting too. But i don't really have a opinion about it.

-The Chases are now ETREMELY QUICKER ! I was a pro evader in the first game and now i feel like a newbie. HP chases are really hard to evade now. but i'm starting to get used with the bravery ones.

Aside form Kain and Lightning, i may be able to have a few battles against Tifa(who looks freacking powerful) and sometimes of my foes had Vaan, Laguna and Yuna as assists.(never challenge them tought)

It is all about my Prologus review. Now, i'm ready for the full game !

But i have some questions to ask ...

Is Cloud only the only one unlockable ? I getted him when i beated arcade hard mode the very first time using Kain.Then i was expecting to get new ones if i beat all the arcades challenges with the others characters previously available (Warrior of light, Garland, Kefka, Sephiroth, Jecht, Kain and Lightning) but nothing happen expect getting Chocobo Colognes.

Other question. Can we get get the 4th alternates of Tifa and Squall in another way than buying the collector version of the full game ? Because maybe i won't be able to get one.
