FF Music Final Fantasy Music Discussion Thread

Nobuo Uematsu has done a great deal on the music in the Final Fantasy industry.
His composed pieces are really good, and he does them well enough to fit in specific situations in the game.

If you consider game music, the Final Fantasy series has one of the best line of music, which anyone would agree!

Talk about Final Fantasy music here, and maybe talk about ones you like, or ones you admire.

Nobuo Uematsu is actually one of my favourite composers. favuorite piece would have to be Aeris Theme. I can play it on piano actually and love every minute of it. It's just so calming and when Aeris

I have alllways loved One Winged Angel, including the advent children Version (even more so than the original). Because I loved the mix of Opera and rock in one song, two of my favourite genre's in music.

In all the Final Fanatsy soundtracks have been great and I have no argument with them. The battle themes have been awesome and the character themes have all suited the characters perfectly. So to say I am upset with the soundtracks would be totally and utterly wrong.

My favorites are Eyes on Me(The song when Squall and Rinoa are together in the Ragnarok) and Song of Memories(Dagger's song). Nobuo Uematsu is a genius and I heard he was going to be holding some kind of tours in the U.S. where he'd be performing with a full orchestra. I'll have to check back with my friend when he gets back from his vacation in Paris to ask where he got that information.

Mine are the One Winged Angel theme (the Advent one, because it's better than the other one, the only thing I don't like are the lyrics ) and of Course Aerith's theme. I like to the song that plays in FFX when Yuna and Tidus kiss <3.

I think Nobuo Uematsu is absolutely brilliant as a composer. All of his work is beautiful and timeless. He can make such memorable and touching pieces out of a few simple notes. His work just adds a whole new element to the gaming experience in FF.

i agree that Nobuo Uematsu is a musical genious My favourite 3 would have to be :
One winged angel (with lyrics - i mean hello a lati choir)
Aeris Theme - simple briliant and pure genious and
Suteki Da Ne (the song where tidus and yuna kiss) - one of the greatest songs i ANY game EVER
