Final Fantasy for the Wii

Ok, here's my issue. I currently only own a Wii as a gaming system. I noticed the only FF games for the Wii are the Crystal Chronicles (sp?)

I d/l the demo for "My life as a darklord" and it was just some tower defense game...lame.

Are there any FF games for the Wii that are like the old style? Classic RPG?
I have the original FF for Wii through WiiWare, but I want something like FFX2 when it comes to graphics...

Please help
 
I don't think there are any FF games for the Wii in the conventional sense, apart from the Crystal Chronicles games. FFI and FFII are available for download through WiiWare but that's it, I think.

The Crystal Chronicles games are pretty fun though, and I'd recommend playing them, they're quite good.
 
I'm pretty sure there aren't any other Final Fantasy games on the Wii besides the ones you already mentioned. It really sucks, too. :c

I hope in the near future they make some more games for the Wii, or for any Nintendo console, since FF was originally on the NES.
 
There's Final Fantasy IV: The After Years as well isn't there? I'm quite surprised there isn't more Final Fantasy titles especially through WiiWare. I can understand there's probably several reasons as to why the main series isn't on the Wii but due to the huge Wii sales surely there'd be room for making a lot of profit out of it :hmmm:
 
Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years are both on the Virtual Console. You can't get more Final Fantasy than the original. Other than that, you'll just have to wait until the inevitable release of II, IV, and VI on the Virtual Console. Also, you may be interested in Dragon Quest X, which is coming exclusively to Wii. Not much else I can offer you, sorry.
 
Ummm final fantasy the after years is amazing! Thats a good one on wiiware but yeah not much final fantasy on wii unless its side stuff. But the after years is really good but I have yet to finish it.
 
There aren't any conventional FF games on the Wii and their may never be. The Wii just doesn't seem like a appropriate system for them. There could be something keeping Square from producing any conventional FF games on the Wii :hmm:
 
I'm a little surprised no one mentioned Chocobo Dungeon on the Wii yet. XD
It may not be a conventional FF game, heck, those Mystery Dungeon-style games have been around for a long time, but an FF theme does it well, in my book.
Classic spells, enemies, and it's own game-within-a-game (card fighting, woohoo!) make it very enjoyable, plus...IT HAS THE FREAKING CHOCOBO! XD
