Help FFXIII: Lion Heart/Axis blade

Do you lose the lion hearts quick stagger ability after u upgrade it to its final form? Or is it just its synthisis gestalt ability which charges ur TP and gives the random instant chains? And as with the axis blade. If you upgrade it to omega you loose its ATB charge rate but keep its 2 bar charge after every attack que?

For the lionheart the quickstagger will stay when upgraded as well as the axis blade's atb charge...You keep special properties but lose synthesis group abilities with upgrading to the final weapon

No quick stagger will stay on the Omega weapon when you upgrade it to full. But wait doesn't the Lionheart have quick stagger?re Im confused he

The quickstagger for that weapon group is a special ability not its synthesis group ability. Going to the ultimate weapon/indapendant wont take away special abilities
