Maiki has once again attended TGS and thanks to her, we can clear up a few details on the pretty varied reports we got from the Closed Mega Theater.
Final Fantasy XIII
The trailer had all of the gameplay cut out of it and was instead this time, completely CG. The new character in the trailer apparently has red hair and pig tails instead of being a brunette and from the fanart of her, she seems to be a similar character to Yuffie or Rikku. She appears in the trailer ontop of a cliff, grinning at the camera.

Maiki has drawn the two new Versus characters featured in the trailer to give us a better idea of what they look like.
Versus Skirt Girl Fanart
Versus Shotgun Guy Fanart
The girl in the skirt was waiting when the Prince walked in and saw her. They both began to face off with a blue magical symbol glowing behind the Prince and a red firey symbol glowing behind the girl. The blond guy with the shotgun appears to be the Prince's friend. He's quite thing but is taller than the prince. While they both were walking through a market place the blonde character was talking to the Prince who seemed to be ignoring him which annoyed our new character and got the Prince in a headlock.
