Sorry, guys, I asked a dumb question but I later found it the answer... So, sorry that I started this thread... Maybe I can turn it into something else...

Oh! What's the best place for when it comes to leveling up your characters? I'm trying to fill up my characters' sphere grids, but I don't know where to find high level monsters that will get me lotsa AP.

^_^

You'll find all these monsters and stuff in the coliseum to "train up" with. I find this unrealistic when training, so I use the Magus Sisters in the Omega ruins.

My strategy? I use everyone in every single battle, then use Yuna last, summon the Sisters, then obliterate almost any enemy. *IF* they fail, Anima is your next best bet ;)

Thanks. I usually level up three characters at a time, or scroll through and see who is closest to leveling up and use them in the next battle. But it makes more sense to use all of them in one battle. I had totally forgotten about Omega Ruins! Thanks, lol.

Calm Lands is always a good place to train yourself when your Level is kinda low. So you might wanna check out that place, too. ;)

I'm not quite sure about Zanarkand because they are way too strong! Goddamn them! lol

it would help more if we understood your characters levels and sthrengths nobody... my rikku kills everything in a couple of hits tops... (99,999 damage a hit) so training isn't a problem for me, but we could probly help you better if we understood YOUR characters.

Well, Tidus, Yuna and Rikku are pretty okay. I use them the most (Tidus for attacking, Yuna for healing, and Rikku to collect items to sell later). But all of my other characters are pretty much sucky. I think the highest health my other characters have is like 3,000 maybe... I'll post some of my stats for my other characters tomorrow.

But like Lulu? She's supposed to be really strong in magick, but even her magick is really weak. What's frustrating is when I go somewhere to level up, b/c they are so weak, if they get hit once they die and then I have to use a turn to revive them. And this sometimes continues and then I end up having to trade them out before they can do any action, in which case they don't get any AP!

Lol, help. :P

Tidus- he should be okay, use him against the slow enemies and the fast but weaker enemies (I know you probly already know that, but i figure its better to say so)

Wakka- flyers, and agile enemies like dingo's (Not the dingo's, considering anyone can kill them in one hit with their 90 HP or whatever it is, but really, lupines... the dogs)

Yuna- zombies! healing magic hurts them big-time... but i'm sure you already know that. besides them, enemies with high HP can be wasted by her aeons..

Lulu- she has high magic defense, not so good with plain old magic offense, at least... that's what i've worked out. she's alright if you've built her up excessively, like me with all my characters (302 hours of work there... training, side quests, celestial weapon quests, and the stuff that's actually story relative!)

Kimahri- really useful in situations that call for high HP and high strength characters... unless you put him down a bad pathway... If your like me, and never trained Kimahri after obtaining Auron, and when you finally do train him... its because you have his ultimate weapon and intend on making him powerful enough to use it to its potential... then you've probly been like me, and sent him down Rikku's pathway after freeing him from his prison of a grid space... he now has 140 or so for most of his stats on my game, with his ultimate AP gaining weapon, the Luin (triple AP, Triple Overdrive, Overdrive>AP)

Rikku- -_- I won't even compare my Rikku... 250/255 almost all stats (mainly except luck), 30,000 HP, Godhand, Atlas (Break HP Limit, Auto-Haste, 2 other auto-abilities), all black magic, most white magic, most skills and abilities in battle, the list goes on... your Rikku is unlikely to be that Uber... so I suggest when you've trained her, after her grid space, go down Lulu's, then from there, try to get to Yuna's, that way, your rikku will match anyone in physical and magical in no time.

Auron- like Kimahri, strong and High HP... use him against similar enemies, and high defense. but when he's finished his path, send him down Yuna's or Tidus'. Tidus for a high speed character, yuna's for survival against magic.

training places- Calm Lands, Zanarkand (if your confident... but don't go into the ruins if you've passed it, and have Airship... you'll more than likely find Dark Bahamut there...), Omega Ruins, (a level almost every battle!) and the list can continue for ages...

I'm not quite sure about Zanarkand because they are way too strong! Goddamn them! lol
there not that strong.... well really it depends if you've been training alot on the way there, the monsters in zanarkand are a perfect place to train or the omega ruins or even sin, and also the calm lands=]

Best way to Level Up is the AP Trick. First you need to unlock Don Tonberry in the Monster Arena. Then your gonna need Armour with Auto-Phoenix. Then your gonna need a weapon with Triple AP, Overdrive->AP,Triple Overdrive for all characters. Then go fight Don Tonberry. WHen he counter attacks your attacks with Karma Auto Phoenix will bring them back so just make sure you have 99 Phoenix Downs. Then just keep wailing on him, once you beat him youll have about 90-99 Sphere Levels!!!!
