FFVII Encounters/No Encounters Run Differences (Video Series)

Figured I'd post this here for anyone interested. As many of you may know, I'm of the mind that most games in the FF series, as well as most games in the J-RPG genre waste a lot of their strategic potential by being too easy. Because of a host of ancient design choices that have become ingrained in the genre, games often become bloated with tons and tons of combat options that either become obsolete over time (clogging up menus), or are simply trumped by very basic commands in most situations. This video series is an example of that in my favorite game, Final Fantasy VII. It consists of two runs, who's boss fights I'll be uploading over time: One that's a normal playthrough where I fight every battle I come across, but do no extra grinding. And another where I turn on the No Random Encounters ability, and beat the game only using the experience, AP, funds, etc. which I gain from fights that aren't random.
