Is it in any way possible to retrieve the sound effects of final fantasy VIII? I have ff VIII for pc (the legal one) and i was already able to get the music from it. (those were .sgt and .dls files and i was able to open them in a certain program) however the sound effect files are in .dat or .fmt format. though i'm not even sure about that. Point is: i can't open them.
Is there anyone who knows more about this topic or knows a place were i can download them?
