Help FF VIII Ragnarok Crash

Il move this over to computer & technology....or what ever that sections called, I'm hungover and I cant remember...

Hopefully someone should be able to give you a hand ^^
 
Okay, quick question. What do i use to open the save file, i downloaded it, but there are no recommended programs.
 
In your Final Fantasy VIII directory, there's a folder named Save. You enter there, then open the Slot 1 folder and paste the save game there. Then you just need to run the game and load that save.There's no need to open it.
 
Okay, well im at school right now, but i'll try it out when i get home. I will inform you of what i encountered tomorrow.
 
A'ight, it worked for me and i played all the way through the Ragnarok. As to what the problem is, i do not know. I can ask my brother if you would like me too. He is a techno junkie, and could probably diagnose your problem.
 
Can you do something else instead: play and save right after you enter ragnarok, please? It would be better this way. A few people had this problem but until now, there's no solution to make it work.
