Favorite Weapon Class?

I love all the different classes of weapons in XII, it makes it very fun and interesting to try them all out!

My personal favorite are the ninja swords, though they are fairly rare to come by compared to the other types of weapons. Pretty powerful and I love the mult-hit combos you get all the time with them!

I really don't like the axes and such, just because they are really so tempermental, they take off tons of damage, but then the next two hits, you take off practically nothing.

And actually I haven't even really been using the staffs for my magic people. They do just fine with me with their magic using the much more powerful swords, etc.

Like to hear your guy's opinions.

Well, it depends what your character is in my opinion.

Axes, Bombs - rely on luck
Ninja Swords - Speed
Katana - Magic Power for physical Damage
Measures, Guns - Piercing
Staffs - Boost MP
Crossbows, Swords, Long swords, Spears - Damage is inflicted according to defense of monster.

I believe that is how it goes. If I am mistaken, so be it.

The weapons that I really like to use are in fact spears and Katanas. Spears give me that added feel of slaying something and making it look cool. Katana's are for my battle mage. =D

For long range I use guns just to pierce their defense and get them down quicker. Quite easy actually. They are slow, but meh, who cares?!

Great Swords....love swinging that huge hunk of deadly cold steel in the enemies faces
