Favorite Artisit and art era (Movement)

So what is your favorite artist? (Can be either manga/anime or an actual artist.) Why? What is your favorite piece of artwork from them? What attracts you to this certain artist?

Do you have a favorite art movement? (Ex: Impressionism) If so, why?

Since the reset, we lost all the posts in here, so let me restate mine. xD

My favorite artist(s) would have to be with the names of Da Vinci, Rembrandt, Rubens, and other Renaissance artists. Baroque artists as well because they can portray realistic subjects in a dramatic manner.

That being said, favorite art era: Rennaissance, specifically Baroque style.

Also, I don't think abstract art is good art at all, I mean anybody can do it, but you need the name to sell it big.
