Harry Gregson Williams is better then Nobou Uematsu. Just compare the music. And HGW has done music for a LOT of people other then video games. Hes done a few movies that I cant remember the names of, but they were damn good.

I for starters don't, Nobou is no genius, but he's better IMO.

Yeah, I'm not hating on Nobou, as I've been a big fan for a while, but I recently just downloaded a bunch of HGW's music off LimeWire and found it better then Nobou's stuff.

Nobuo is a good composer who has been blown out of proportion by elements of the Final Fantasy fanbase, it's not absurd at all for people to suggest that there are better game composers around ( Yamane! Koshiro! Mitsuda! ). I haven't heard much of your man Williams' music though, so I couldn't make a fair judgement between the two.
