Hi guys, this one as you can probably guess, is about being from Europe.. What a suprise! Well for those of you who were players of FFXI, If you ever had friends from NA that you liked to party with and maybe even linkshells that were NA or JP and you enjoyed doing events with them, this ones more for you. Although NA and Japan had great players to meet and do fun things with, getting up extremly early or staying up rather late during the week was quite difficult if you have a schedule to follow. Since EU release was a lot later than NA when it came to FFXI, when people like myself imported the NA version to play, there was a lack of people to enjoy play with around my timezone. Even though FFXIV should be released in EU at the same time as the NA release, I still think EU players should enjoy having players on a similar and regular playtime. 
Which is why im deciding to make a -Linkshell- plan. [IF they even have Linkshells in XIV]. Now, I say plan only because, nothing can be set in stone at this moment in time. But together we can put our Idea's towards the simple things, such as a name, website, forum, leaders, etc etc. The benefits of this is, that we all contribute to make something that we all want as a team. A good team always consists of communication and can never be fully run by one person, because if it was it would be more of a gang.. or a band.. of.. bandits? I don't know, but the main thing is we should all work together to contribute something that we all want together \(^ ^)/.
Now i know a lot of friends from FFXI and RL that are planning to get FFXIV so just as a fun thing i made a little free website and forum thing to get people together. My intentions are not to drag people from this forum, but it is there that we can hold discussions and contribute ideas together.

It's just a free website at the moment, and i know it has a name for that and the forum, but this is, again, just a meeting place for idea building. On the website, click the join button ^^.
The benefits of having an EU team are massive. We can grow as a team and become an end-game based team, or have internal end-game groups. We can also never be stuck for playing together in things such as experience partys(if thats how it will be done in FFXIV) We also have the chance to explore together and get stuff done together. Team members can help each other with tips for each other, rather than players receiving unnecessary harsh and heavy critisism somewhere else. It could be viewed as somewhat a family Where we can all look out for each other.
IMPORTANT!: Being part of an EU team like this DOES NOT limit you from meeting players in the NA time zones or JP. I would hope that friendly EU players in the same mindset are not afraid or unwilling to allow people from other regions enjoy the group. The idea/planning group is NOT only for EU players, but will be mostly based on EU timezones and workings to allow players to get there 100% maximum enjoyment out of the game.
I appreciate any comments or ideas. I have put this message on the forum, simply to help other EU players enjoy the game and generally want players to have a happy experience. I hope that some people can find this useful and beneficial.
