Ok, so I just beat FFVI and I have to say, that was the best ending to a Final Fantasy I've seen. Of course, I've only beaten 3 including this one. :P Kefka wasn't that hard, in fact, he was down right EASY. All I had to do was spam Quick+Ultima and Kefka went down in less than a 2 minutes. I can't even remember him ever hitting me. He was TOO easy, I was actually kinda disappointed...

ANYWAY, back to my question. I noticed that the ending had a lot of Terra in it, so my question is, what if you beat the game without getting Terra back in your party first?

Then she'd probably still feature in the ending anyway xD

I can't imagine it having multiple endings, because aside from X-2.... FF doesn't really DO multiple endings as far as Im aware anyway..someones gunna come prove me wrong now, I can smell it >_>

Can't say that I have tbh, you know, it might not even let you proceed without Terra.... I suppose it's summat that's worth a try, although this would involve me starting a new file and I welll cba with that.....

When I was playing FFVI, I accidently went to Kefka's Tower with only Celes, Sabin, Edgar, and Setzer. And it allowed me to go in, so I'm guessing you can.

Its actually impossible to complete the game without Terra, if you dont bother going back to Mobilz to get her, she shows up before the fight with Kefka anyway, so there is no way (other than using a game genie) to complete it without terra and even then the ending would still have her in...

Ooooooh. Is that the same for the other characters? Like Locke or Shadow etc? Also, how does she show up? Does she just suddenly appear in a cut scene or does she walk up to you and say "Don't forget about me." or something?

Only terra shows up, she will show up right before the statue fight, forgot exactly what she says but yea pretty much along the lines of "dont forget about me"

I didn't know that at all. I only beat FFVI once, but I recruited everyone before going to Kefka's tower.

Well, as far as I remember, Terra plays a key role in the ending and it wouldn't be possible to have the same ending if Terra wasn't there. So, she shows up regardless of whether you recruited her or not. The others don't though. It's possible to complete the game with Celes, Sabin and Edgar only, if I recall correctly. Terra turning up turns your party of three into a party of 4.

But you need Setzer to take you to Daryl's grave where he had been repairing her airship, right? The other one ended up destroyed when the world fell apart o_O

Everyone here is correct. You can forget all about Terra and go straight to the boss with Celes, Edgar, Sabin, and Setzer but Terra will always show up in the end. This shows how important the main character is to the story.
