Eiko & Amarant's Last Names

Have you ever noticed that Eiko and Amarant's last names can be arranged to be the same with each other? Eiko's last name is Carol and Amarant's last name is Coral. You can arrange Amarant's last name to be Carol and you can rearrange Eiko's last name to be Coral. Do you think that they have some sort of connection or that Square couldn't think of a last name for them?

I wouldn't read too much into it... just a pointless coincidental anagram.

I agree. Also, I think they changed Amarant's name around a bit. At one point, I think they were also using 'Coral Salamander' or something like that. I'm just glad they gave him a name that didn't associate him with a reptile.

Probably just a qouinkidink, but I remember when I first read the booklet I didn't look carefully and I thought Eiko and Amarant were brother and sister XD
