With Square Enix's recent acquisition of Eidos Interactive, the two companies announced modifications to their distribution strategy for upcoming titles, describing these changes as "advantageous".

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Eidos' current distributor, will manage the launches of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Mini Ninjas (due August and September 2009, respectively) in North America as co-publisher, while Eidos and Square Enix will oversee their releases in Europe.

All of Eidos' other slated titles, such as Kane and Lynch 2 and Just Cause 2Tomb Raider house's other announced games include Deus Ex 3 and Thief 4.

Initially revealed last February, Square Enix's $117 million takeover takeover of Eidos was approved by courts and completed on April 22nd, with all of Eidos' franchises joining Square Enix's revered Final Fantasy series and other properties under the same roof.

"We’re working on other transition details, including catalogue products and will provide these details as soon as we have them worked out," the companies disclosed in a statement.
