Effing League Licenses!

I hate how EA and Konami rent apart the football/soccer world by dividing the leagues of the world in their games by purchasing exclusive licenses with different professional leagues.

I heard Konami has the J-League, which obviously prevents EA from incorporating one of the more interesting leagues AND teams from being in their FIFA series. EA, however have license to the K-League. But that's about it in terms of Asian conferences and teams, which sucks, 'cause there's no way you can play clubs internationally in Asia.

Honestly, they should just share and make things better for everyone.

It's a pain in the arse sometimes but it can't be helped. EA aren't going to give up the Premiership license since I'd imagine that it's a big draw for them and sharing it (or others) with Pro Evo could swing those who care about that sort of thing towards a another companies title.

It's a shame. I'd love to play more football games besides Madden, but I prefer playing as real NFL teams with real NFL players instead of fake teams. There may be plenty of football games out there that have superior gameplay to Madden, but I'll never bother with 'em for that reason.

Doesn't bother me much with the soccer games, as I'm not as big a fan of the sport, but the principle is the same.
