duplication complication

alright,so i try over and over again to dup Excalibur. i know how to do it, iv checked all over forums//gamefaqs//wikies...ect.ect.

yet it still will not work.
iv heard in some other posted discussions that it can only be done in certain Citys. iv been to a whole bunch and still no result.

my theory, though a lame one, is that it was patched in the Greatest Hits version.

anyways, if anyone has any insight for this matter please help.

Duplication Glitch

When you get a powerful weapon (Excalibar, Save the Queen) you can duplicate that unique weapon. Get a person the Two Swords Skill and change that person into a knight. Equip the weapon in the left hand and a weak shield in the right hand. Head to any castle and use ''Best Fit'' on that person. You should get a menu that shows that you are buying that weapon you want to dupe. Choose yes.
(Does not work with crossbows or anything like that.)
