DS mic problem D:

Last time I played my DS (lite) it worked fine, and it still does but I discovered yesterday that the stupid mic has stopped working >:[

Anyone experienced any similar problems or know if it's easy to fix? The mothership got it me last Xmas and I expect it is still under guarantee, but a tenner says she can't remember where she got it from

It's not really the end of the world if it can't be fixed, I just wanna know if it can be D:

Although Im gunna miss drunken Brain Training lols ;_;

Check to see if the mic slots are blocked.
If they are clean them, if they arn't then you have a broken wire, lose wire, or blown mic.
The cases of if they arn't then you will have to send it in to be repaired.

Gay it wouldnt surprise me if Ive knackered it spilling something on it

And it doesn't look like the mic hole is blocked, I inspected it yesterday, and I'm not pulling it appart

Then you should send it to be repaired if you want to use the mic if not don't worry about it.

I have the same problem with my Black DS lite.. it broke within 2 months.. so my solution was buying a mic/headset you plug into the headphone slot.

It was the only solution for me, I couldnt work out why my mic was broked

Ah, ok, if that works then I'l just do that.....it's kinda annoying though. I'm just glad there is a way round it.....that's if it still works, I dropped it yesterday
