Dragonlance Series

Indeed, the Dragonlance Novels are great. Thus far, I have only read those written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. There are over a hundred other novels set within the Dragonlance world, though I'm not quite up to reading them yet. Thus far, I have read the following:

~~~ Dragonlance Chronicles Trilogy.
~~~ Dragonlance Legends Trilogy.

~~~ The Second Generation
Currently, I am reading the last of the main novels written about the companions and their descendants. That would be Dragons of Summer Flame, the conclusion (in a manner of speaking) to Chronicles. I loved the writing style of the two authors who wrote these books, and though I favour novels written in the Forgotten Realms, these were a nice change of pace as was Krynn.
i've read the ones that you have already and i LOVE them! and i think it's supposed to be The Second Generation. Dragons of Summer Flame is excellent! my faves are probably Dragonlance Legends, Dragons of Summer Flame, and Second Generation. and the Raistlin Chronicles.
the Second Generation is just shocking. i freaked out when i saw the short story, 'Raistlin's Daughter'. When i read Kitiara's Son, i wasn't really surprised, until i found out about Sturm.
Yeah, my mistake. *Fixed*
There were a few surprises in the Second Generation, though I knew most of them because I had read descriptions of other books further down the line which sort of ruined it. After I am done with Dragons of Summer Flame, I'll probably hold out on progressing towards the War of Souls until I have read the Meetings Sextet; which details how each of the companions...met, when they were much younger. Can't wait to read about the first time Flint laid eyes on that 'doorknob' of a Kender who tries to steal from him.
There is a great deal of humour in these novels. What was a favoured moment of yours in this regard, kairi12? Mine would have to be when we met Fizban for the first time, and he had that lengthy argument with...a Tree.
"Arrest that tree!" Giving it a kick for good measure when they left was also a nice touch.
i love the part where Fizban gets mad at the tree! And when Flint meets Tasslehoff. That's a good one. I think that's in the Raistlin Chronicles (The Soulforge). A good part in the Legends Trilogy is when Raistlin stays in the Abyss and Tanis, Caramon, and Crysania are there, and Kitiara just died. It was a sad part, but still good.
Best On going series yet. I just love the ones Margarret Weis is involved in writing. I can't wait for here next in the Dark Deciple Trilogy.
I have read the Raistlin chronicals, Dragonlance Chronicals, Dragonlance legends(Twin trilogy),Second Generation, Dragons of a Summer Flame, War of Souls, and a few side ones. Right now I'm on Riverwind the Plainsman, as I wait for the next book, which follows a set of two new characters, and a character named Mina From War of Souls. And Many of the other Gods Have larger roles now , such as Majere, Zimboim, Nuitari, and Chemosh. There are some appearances from characters from previous sets such as Dalamar, Palin, and Gareth
