BioWare's Dragon Age: Origins is set to come out later this year, and probably much to the relief of many an RPG fan, it is going to be multiplatform (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) rather than just PC as it was first announced. I'm a huge fan of BioWare's games, and I am rooting for them to bring yet another fantastic RPG experience this generation on par with Mass Effect.
There's not a lot of info out on it at the moment, but the quite expansive selection origin stories seem like a cool idea and is in my opinion definitely preferable to the vast myriad of character classes in Baldur's Gate/Neverwinter Nights.

BioWare says that it is the spiritual successor to their Baldur's Gate series, so if you've played that (or Neverwinter Nights) you should have a pretty good idea about what it is (roughly) going to be like.
