I only just found out that they put this out for the DS, and I have a question about it. How is this version compared to the original Playstation 2 version? is it a conversion of the same game, and if that is the case, how good a conversion?

Disgaea for ds is basically the same thing as the playstation 2 version but with more added stuff. They also made a Disgaea for psp and I reccomend you either get that one or the new one on ps3. The psp Disgaea is really good though.
I don't own a PS3 or a PSP, but thanks for the word of advice anyway. Have you played the DS version personally by the way? I'm kinda curious as to how the conversion from PS2 to DS is. Whether they make use of the touch skin and such.
Well I have never played it though of course almost every ds game uses the touch screen and I am sure you will have to use the touch screen sometimes. Although I would like to play it, I am not sure about buying it since I have got the new ps3 disgaea game.
