I was a fan of Digimon until they stopped showing it. I still try to catch some episdoes here and there on the internet though. My favourite Digimon was Garurumon for his wolfish apperance as well as Hawkmons digivolution line. My favourite season will allways be season one and my favourite characters are Tai, Matt and Joe.
Hmm, I think it went down hill after season two. I have heard many tell that season two was the worst, but I wasn't particularly a fan of season three myself. Up to season two I loved all the characters and their Digimon, but Season three disappointed me with the plot and the characters. As for season four, the only way I can watch that is through Japanese with English subtitles online and I'm not fond of that idea.
Season 4 never made it to the UK, or at least not to my knowledge. (Season 3 has Monmon, Grizzmon, Dinohumon, correct?) but what they DID release was a game: Digimon World 2003 (or DW3 in some areas).
Season one was excellent, a brilliant introduction to the series. Favourites were Wargreymon, metalgarurumon, Myotismon, Angewomon, Magna-Angemon, Piedmon, Devimon, Metal Seadramon and Mega Kabuterimon.
Season two was ... different. Davis was an arrogant piece of crap. Raidramon and Flamdramon lightened it up a bit. Magnamon, Stingmon, Paildramon, Imperialdramon (all modes) and Gatomons digi-egg-volution rocked (can't for the life of me remember her name).
Season three was also excellent. I loved the idea of the game being brought to life and the Digimon in the real world. Impmon and Beelzemon were THE best, nothing beat Beelzemon, NOTHING. Gallantmon and Sakuyamon rocked too.
Season four ... GRRRR
Digimon the movie was excellent-ay, for the simple reason that you got to see everyone again Bring on the mons!
I liked Lilymon. She was so awesome. And the movie was pretty cool too. And then they had all that cheap ass controversy about digimon copying pokemon. Its not my fault it was better.
Actually, Digimon (tamagotchi) was in the making in 1995, whilst Pokemon only started creation in 1996. People tend to think Digimon copied Pokemon because the pokemon anime was out before Digimon's. The only thing they have in common is the whole different Digimon/ Pokemon and the chance to evolve them in some way. Thus meaning that Digimon hadt he idea first...
Nor me, I thinks its just these Pokemon fans trying to better theymselves through thinking that Digimon copied Pokemon. But in any case, facts speak louder than the fans XP
