Different stories, scenes and dialogue

I have found some scenes that change due to events that laeds to them.

1. Blitzball

You can win or lose the game, if you win you get a throphy of ridicolous size. And the Crusaders that you met in Besaid will congratulate you on your victory at the High Road.

2. Towards Macalania Temple.

After the fight against the Al Behd machina, they use the "scooters" to get to Macalania Temple but there are at least to different scenes.

a: Lula get on Tidus' scooter. They talk on the way to the temple.

b: Lula get on Rikkus scooter. Tidus seem a little down because of this and have to travel alone to the temple. He does share some thought with Auron riding alongside him.

But reason for getting to differnt scenes after the blitzball game is obvious, but do anyone know what event that trigger either of the two scenes in Macalania?

It has to do with affection levels. You can raise your characters affection levels by having them pay lots of attention to each other.

For example if you want Lulu to like Tidus more, have him heal her and only her in battle.
If you want Lulu to dislike Tidus...have him attack her in battle.

Another way to raise affection levels is by talking to the other characters during cut scenes. If you want to raise your affection levels with Rikku, flirt with her. If you want to lower your affection levels with Rikku, give her rude answers when she talks to you.

The affection levels also affects which girl appears in Tidus' final overdrive.
