Debating between layouts

Hey all, I'm thinking of making a website. I made two layouts and want some input on which one is better and some constructive criticism on what I can do to improve your choice. Thanks!

I prefer layout 2. I don't know much about layouts, but I would recomend for the second one is maybe a bigger image where the faded Link is. Also in the side bar where it has those two boxes, I would consider adding maybe some tiny effects. But thats just me after all

The second layout isn't showing up for me.

I see both, and I prefer the first. The lighter colours are nicer IMO.

They both look good though.

I'm going with the second one here. The first has that pixelated, Destructoid style font- it doesn't seem as original, I guess. The second has more of a "prepare to be amazed" vibe going to it.

I prefer the 2nd one much more than the first. The first just doesn't look as polished and I agree about the text. Plus it's just a tad too pixel-y for me.

The 2nd just seems more put together and complete, and the text is much better. Although I'd tweak the main text on the banner though, just doesn't look as nice with the rest of the layout.

I think they're both really good, but the second one draws my attention more than the first one. The second one looks more in order and more neatly layed out than the first one

I prefer the second one.

The first one has a sort of "I product websites en-mass in my free time" feel about it. Where as the second one gives the impression that something really good is going on behind those links. I guess the second one just feels more inviting, and makes me want to look around a bit more.

The main text in the banner doesn't appeal to me either, though. I think it would look better with a font that was a little more original.

Overall neither one looks bad though. The second one just looks better.

the second one is the best(is that zelda?? i realy don t like him but doen´st matter)but the main text in the banner i think you should remove gaming and put another word (outer heaven look just fine).but its just my opinion.
I m trying to do layout myself. I will show it later or in couple of days
