Hey guys. Ive recently been employed and I dont want to be in this job as its got crappy hours, but as everyone has said its only till Christmas Eve and its money.

But I want to be looking at other jobs aswell. Ive been told to join a local jobsite and in order to send my CV onto applicates online, I need to attach a cover letter to my CV. And I have no idea how or what one is lol!

This is new to me as Im going after office jobs and I can understand if its important.

So has anyone written one before? If so, what did you write about and have you got any good tips? Thanks guys!

Cover letters are mainly to see the writing and grammer of a person but if your sending through E-mail then the writing is obviously not important.

I usually start with something like this,

Dear sir/madam,

I am writing regarding the postion of (insert job here). I am currently working at (Insert company here) as a (Insert position).

Then in the next paragraph write a little about yourself, interests, why you want to change careers and why you are applying for that job. Then at the end:

I hope to hear from you soon.

Yours sincerely
