As you know, there are a lot of giant robot animes out there like Gundam and Big O. So what's your favorite mech of all time?

-One of my favorite mechs is Dan of Monday, Van's robot from GunXSword.
 
Coolest mechs? There's just too many awesome ones to pick. But I'm more of a Super Robot man myself so I'd probably go for:
Mazin Kaiser
Shin Getter
Gunbuster
Zeorymer
God Gundam

Perhaps throw in Gao Gai Gar as well and you'd probably have one of the most brokenly strong mech teams ever. God bless Super Robot Taisen for making it possible.:)
 
I don't know, I'm generally not a fan of mecha anime, but does Neon Genesis Evangelion count? I never really looked at it as a mecha, but some might consider it one. If it is, then Eva Unit 01

The Evangelions are really cool because there is so much myster to them. I'm still not completely sure what they really are. XD.

And you can't forget how destructive they are when they beserk.
 
Sashi' mech in Abenobashi shopping arcade is the coolest j/k

But really I think that the RahXephon is the coolest. since Ayato' soul is inside the Xephon making him somewhat invunerable to attacks, so the RahXephon is definatly the coolest.
 
I fully agree, Megas is the very definition of greatest mecha ever.
