Wow talk about ridiculous. Every day the government seems a little bit more like my parents. I get really mad when people think they can impose their will on others just because they don't like the way they dress.

PS

I don't wear "saggy pants" myself, I think they're stupid and unnatractrive. But I do think that it's wrong to force other people to conform to my personal dress code.

Well, "Saggy Pants" represents Thugs and Gang Members. I find it so Unattractive and very stupid to do. Why have pants below your ass?

As for it being a law, that's dumb. Why tell people what they can and can't wear? *shrugs*

Next they are going to tell us tight pants on boys are not allowed.

well thats no surprise... the US has many strange laws... isnt it illegal for some small town to look sad or something? I was watching Ripleys Believe it or not one time and theres so many strange laws you people have lol...

This Saggy Pants thing isnt that wierd compared to other laws you have

It's not really about whether about it being weird. I'm more annoyed about the fact that it's wrong to tell people what they can wear just because you don't like it. Pretty sure it violates the Bill of Rights as well.

Maybe I'm just cynical but this seems to take us one step closer to government-mandated uniforms and haircuts.

It's their town and they have every right to impose whatever laws they want as long as it doesn't infringe against the basic constitutional rights of it's citizens. Maybe if the people that wore those droopy pants got up and started voting, we wouldn't have this issue, now would we?

All I can say is its about time! I hope this is brought over to the UK cause Im sick of seeing everyones underwear and backsides! Its not attractive and its gross.

While I don't think saggin britches is very pleasin to the eye, I think it's another stupid idea coming from the "great":giggle: American government. I think it might be aimed at gang members who tend to show a little undergarment while they walk around. IMO, they probably didn't make enough money with speeding tickets so they have to find revenue elsewhere.

Another point of concern is the fact that it gives police another excuse to target the lower class and gentrify an area.

I guarantee no one in the lower class came up with this idea. Next they'll be banning stirrup pants and Tweety Bird sweatshirts.

Do you know that te police catch more gangstas because of ther saggy pants? I find the trend discussing. And its based in prison. I could care less if they ban it. But if they ban that what else will they ban?
