Chocobo Forest [Hot & Cold]

Chocobo Hot & Cold was my third favourite minigame after Triple Triad and Blitzball. Finding the Chocographs and getting cool treasures from the over world chests was cool enough, but also getting things like potions, gil, and dead peppers along the way made it seem like you were getting a lot done in very little time. I bet that even if I played for a couple hours and didn't get a Chocograph, if I'd gotten a couple ethers, I'd still keep going. It was that fun. XD

I love chocobo hot and cold

I remember it so well from my last play through, although I also remember being extremley frustrated at getting kweeeeeeeeh! and not finding the KWEEEH intime, it does my head in. Defo the most infuriating part, because Im convinced everytime I miss out its a chocograph and I want to headbutt the control pad

I know exactly what you mean, It used to happen to me all the time too! And when you find that Chocograph with 0 seconds on the clock, you dance around like "I knew it, I knew it!"

haha, took me ages but I finally found them all, I was getting annoyed finding those bubbles in the sea aswel, how I got through it I don't know, I was getting well annoyed, oh and finding those cracks in the mountains was hacking me off even more

That aerial garden well annoys me aswel. What a waste of time running along the clouds to get to the next part. It's even more annoying whern you get a kweh?! right near the edge and whilst you are manically bashing square you jump off the bloody ledge

Anyway, I'm done with choco hot and cold now, I have an array of fabulous items so all is gewwwd

It's epic, if frustrating at times

I remember doing the Chocobo Hot & Cold and even getting the Ragnarok, but unfortunately I didn't use Steiner on that playthrough so I was like "meh" and continued with the main story.


Now I'm playing through the game once again and this time I use Steiner so I'm definitely going to do the Chocobo Hot & Cold again.

Chocobo Hot and Cold is probably 3rd or 4th favorite Minigame in the Final Fantasy series (Triple Triad, Blitzball, and Tetra Master were funner/just as fun to me as this). I've completed this minigame so many times (I've beaten FFIX a good 6 or 7 times), that I could sit down and do the whole thing if you give me a few hours. Probably the "best" item I've found is a Megalixir, but I've never been one for farming for items that I personally don't really need or use.
