After 9 months of intense coding with a few short breaks, I have finally

Second Life, Star Wars Galaxies, EverQuest, ToonTown, and There

- Create a blog about your sim life or real life
- Earn SimClims and you can cash them in for prizes
- List your sim, their server/city, and their property
- Alert members about your in-game event advertised on our homepage
- Access our discussion forums
- Send messages, shout outs, and post bulletins
- Get up-to-date news events in TSO thanks to our daily updated News Ticker

As a member, you are able to completely customize your profile. This includes:
your real life information, your gaming information, your profile's "look and
feel", and the list will soon grow even larger!

So. How do you start?

1) SimClims!

I would first like to explain how SimClims work. SimClims are a clever word for
the online currency at MySimSpace.Net. You can earn SimClims in various ways.
Possible ways include posting messages in our forums, replying to posts, listing
cheats for your online game, and by winning contests in our Contest
Forum
.

Basically, SimClims are designed to promote community activity, and add some fun
to the website! The more SimClims you gain, the more features you get out of our
website! For example, if you earn 1,000 SimClims, you may be able to trade them
to the webmaster, Max CR, and win in-game or real life prizes! This feature is
described more later in this guide.

Other uses for SimClims include, hosting your own contest in our contest forum
to have some fun, and gain the title of Richest Member which will cause you to
have your own display name to be automatically be featured on the homepage!

Once the economy stabilizes in in EA Land, we may begin having a MySimSpace.Net
store. This store will allow users to buy in-game TSO items, and in-game TSO
currency through our website by using either real life cash, or online SimClims.
We also may be expanding this store for more MMORPG's. This feature may or many
not be launched after EA Land stabilizes.

However, we do plan on having our first real life item contest soon. This
contest will be a contest for a TSO Game Time Code. The first member to reach a
certain amount of SimClims, such as 5,000, will win a TSO Game Time Code that we
will mail to you. We do not plan on doing this until a few months from now so we
can make sure the SimClim feature is working properly.

Here are the different ways you can earn SimClims:

a) Win a contest in our
Contest Forum, and
win 50 SimClims. Most contests are created by Max CR. If you win the contest you
will be rewarded with 50 SimClims. However, if a member wants to have their own
fun, they can host their own contest in the contest forum. Possible uses for a
member to host a contest for the SimClim prize would be to advertise their
signature. A member can place their property description in their signature, and
when people view the contest, they will also see the signature advertisement.
They can set the prize amount to whatever they would like, and can trade them
simply by clicking "Send SimClims" in a member's profile.

b) Submit a news article to our
News Forum to earn 30
SimClims. Nearly every Friday, MySimSpace.Net releases news articles of in-game
activities and updates for The Sims Online. We encourage members to help build
the community by submitting their own news article. Although, at this time we do
not cover online game news other than The Sims Online, other members are more
than welcome to. All articles are approved unless they have offensive material.
If there is poor grammar or spelling, they will be corrected before being
published. News articles that will be released on Friday will be announced
during the week in Town
Square
. If a prior announcement wasn't made, then there will be no news
articles on Friday. To submit an article, simply click
here.

c) Give us feature ideas! If we use your idea you will be rewarded 20 SimClims.
We are constantly looking for ways we can improve this website. We plan on
eventually having millions of members from across the gaming network. We are
looking for any way we can improve our website to make it better for everyone.
This includes, user-interface changes, ideas on how to make this website more
fun, ideas to keep interest in this website, or anything else that can improve
this website for the better. Please go to
Town Square to
publish your ideas. If you submit an idea, you give us consent to use them
without limitation.

d) Found a bug or error? If I can reproduce a bug you have found, and
successfully fix it, then I will reward you with 10 SimClims. Post that in
Town Square as well.

e) Post in our forums and receive 2 SimClims per post! We want our community to
be as active as possible. To get our community as active as possible, much of
that relies on our forum. For every post a member makes, he or she will
automatically get 2 SimClims added onto your account. The maximum SimClims you
can earn by posting each day is 10 SimClims. In other words, you can only post 5
times to receive the maximum 10 SimClims per day.

f) Post a tip, hint, or strategy for an online game in our "Got Tips?" forum and
earn 10 SimClims. These hints can be for any online game.

2) Create your profile!

a) Content Editor - Everyone wants their profile to attract people to get to
know them. On other websites, it is at most times boring to get to know someone.
Especially when every member's profile looks the same. Therefore, we gave each
and every member the feature of changing the content on their profile. For
example, you change your background, text font, scrollbar colors, and almost all
other content on your profile.

b) Detailed Information - We gave members the option to put both their real life
information, and their sim life information. This sim information includes
detailed information about your game play regarding The Sims Online, World of
Warcraft, Second Life, Ultima Online, ToonTown, and There.

3) Upload photos!

a) Photos - Each member can upload the maximum of 20 photos. You can set a photo
to be be your default by selecting "Set As Default".

b) Albums - To make organizing your photos easy, we have given members the
feature of creating up to 50 albums. You can place your photos in these albums.
For example, if you have photos from your trip to Florida and photos from your
trip to New York, you can create the albums "Trip To Florida" and "Trip To New
York" and put the corresponding photos in those albums.

3) Friends features!

a) Friends - Every member has the feature of adding friends to their profile.
After meeting someone you are interested in, you can add them to your Friends
List. Having a member on your Friends List means that you can send shout outs to
each other, place each other on your Top Friends List, and even post Bulletins
for your friends to read.

b) Shout Outs - By sending a shout out to your friends, you can communicate to
other members where your messages are visible to anyone who reads your profile.
If privacy is an issue for you, please use the option to message each other
instead.

c) Top Friends List - All members can create this list. It will display a set of
friends you have chosen for everyone to see when viewing your profile. This is
also useful to easily find friends to communicate with them.

d) Bulletins - If you would like to post information for only your friends to
read, then a bulletin is right for you. By creating a bulletin, all of your
friends will be able to read them. You can create a bulletin or read bulletin by
going "Home".

4) Submit an event/advertisement!

a) Advertise - Do you have an in-game event you would like to advertise? Post it
in our Events Forum, and
anyone looking for something going on in-game can view it. You can also post
advertisements for your property in this forum as well. It does not have to be
only an event. Your post will be accessible through the Forum Index and the
homepage.

b) It's on the homepage! - If you haven't noticed, any posts that are in the
Events Forum are
displayed on the homepage! This is a great way to advertise your in-game events
or properties to attract visitors!

5) Search!

a) Forum Search - This gives members the feature of being able to easily search
the forum. You can search by keyword, author, and a few other methods.

b) Member Search - Are you looking to find someone who you are compatible with?
Simply click "Search" and then "Search Members". You can search for a member's
display name, age, gender, their real life information, and their sim
information. Finding someone similar to you has never been easier.

6) Check the News
Forum
!

a) News - Nearly every Friday, MySimSpace.Net releases news articles of in-game
activities and updates for The Sims Online. Although, at this time we do not
cover online game news other than The Sims Online, other members are more than
welcome to. These news articles include update information, in-game events, and
behind the scenes Q & A's with the developers you won't see anywhere else. News
articles that will be released on Friday will be announced during the week in
Town Square. If a
prior announcement wasn't made, then there will be no news articles on Friday.
Don't forget to check every Friday!

News Forum to earn 30
SimClims. We encourage members to help build the community by submitting their

on a few websites, and in-game, we also need members to help refer friends, and
bring the experience of MySimSpace.Net to them as well! Click
here to
invite people to this website.

9) Create a group!

a) Description - Members can use groups to represent a variety of things.

only group members can see.
