Okay, so I take drama class and one of our recent assignments has been to create a character or identity. I really love creating characters, as some of you may now, and after we created our characters, we were then told to make monolgues to demontrate the personality of the character, to which many in the class groaned, and I began immediately with much enthusiasm.

As a short explanation beforehand, my character for this upcoming monologue is named Dan Goulding. He's pretty much insecure and somewhat scatter-brained, but very nice and polite, while also typically mistreated. he also has a few little physical behaviors when he speaks that also identify him, but I just wrote the speech, as I will perform the actions as him when it's time to present in class.

I never understood why women would fall so easily for a cruel man... Why and how did someone kill such a concept as chivalry?
All around me, I see men forcing or tricking their loves to do as they see fit...
Now I, I never mistreated a woman...

I believe that they deserve to be treated as better... Well... Better than me, anyway... Nobody deserves to be disrespected as much as I get disrespected from day to day.
I never get any thanks for what I do for them... They just pass me by and fall for the guys who want to use them...

It just seems like a stupid choice... But... I guess the guys just look better than me... I mean...
Any hair and eye color has to be better than mine, so they must be easier to look at...
What was I talking about...?

Oh, yeah...
Apparently, nice guys get kicked to the curb for guys who are a total pain in the...
But, I shouldn't say that...
I'm sure they have their good qualities, too...
