I think it would be cool if they linked the two main characters e.g. "Noctis and Lightning have intertwined fates or destinies" or some crap like that.
Other than that I wouldn't want a crossover between the games although it is possible supposing the place Noctis rules over is in fact the other side of Pulse. I mean lets face it, FF13 didn't show the whole planet did they? They got to Oerba and teleported back to Cocoon, there could have been loads more to see. Although when I think about it this theory can only be true if FFV13 shares the same story plot. I doubt it will happen... and i hope that doesn't happen because i personally thought FF13's plot was pretty awful.
Maybe SE's plan was to purposefully make FF13 so bad so that Versus 13 can look really good?
