Can't find Deathgaze or Ixion

OK I know it's "not supposed to matter" which airship you get on to find Deathgaze, but I've been on 3 and not seen him yet. Is there a trick to it?

Also I have run all around the cataract of Ridoran and not seen Ixion either.

Help is appreciated!

Oops just saw the older thread about Ixion. I thought he might be down in that dark basement. (But the Hunt describes it as being in the cataract if I am not mistaken). So that solves that one, but I'd still love to know about the Deathgaze, thanks.

okay for deathgaze talk to the boy after you get off at every aerodrome
if he says the deathgaze is REALLY close then he'll be on the next airship

for ixion go down to the subbterra by taking the lift down in the main hall in first floor
he will be around the edge on any of the floors

Yeah actually when I saw Aztec get to the Deathgaze hunt he had to go to a few different aerodomes to figure out which one DeathGaze was closest to. So when I came to that part of my game file I just went straight to Nalbina Fortress Aerodome and talked to the boy and he said he saw DeathGaze isntantly and I fought the Mark right after that.
