Bizzare Foods with Andrew Zimmern

Anyone seen this show on the Travel Channel? I've watched most of the episodes so far and it's really weird. I think most of the stuff he eats on the show look like they taste pretty good, even when I know they're usually brain or heart or something.

I like the Asian one so far. Weird maggots and fried rats. Yum.

I saw the show where he ate a guinea pig. And how he sucked the small brain right out of the skull.
Not what i call a delicacy.But its a cool show, i must say

lol I remember that episode. That's the episode where he went to that shaman guy and he got blasted with 'spit, fire, and blisters'. xD

i think it happened in Ecuador.He' a very charismatic host.

Oh yeah. I can see why many people are fans of his.
He's pretty funny too, and he knows what culture is all about -- food!

Do you know if he's coming out with a new season for that?

Not sure i do think so.... I doubt they'll pull the plug on his show. Its better than most food shows out there. And i can honestly say his show is the only one that doesn't get me hungry

His show makes me want to try out some of the food abroad and stuff. I usually think: "Dammit, he's having fun eating this stuff, so why aren't I?" so I try to motivate myself to try and eat those foods when the chance comes. xD

I wouldn't mind trying them. But I'm not in a rush either. I just like to watch him interact with different cultures through their cuisines.

I think he should do one in India. I've never seen an episode of his in that part of the world. I'm pretty sure he'll be able to dig some bizzare food out there somewhere.

I can't remember if he did one in India. But most likely he did in his previous season. India is well known for their unique taste.
