Billing/New to FFXI, please help

Hello, I'm going to buy the ultimate collection tomorrow, and i had some questions about the game.

The ultimate collection contains a free 30 days, so if i started on August 2nd i would be good until the 31st, and then on Sept 1st it would start my billing. The payment is 12.95 a month, correct?

I'm 15, and i have 55 dollars, here is a chart i made below, remember that the amount show is what i get AFTER i paid the bill, and after my mom paid me my 25 dollars a month in child support >.>...the 25 comes sometime after the 1st..so..

Final Fantasy XI Billing-

Start date-August 2nd (30 day free trial)
Bill start date-September 1st
Starting Amount- $55
Amount after game purchase-$37.63
Amount after 1st month-$37.63
2nd-24.68
3rd-36.73
4th-48.78


am I correct?...the thing im worried about is having my account overdrawn..if this were to ever happen can I manually pay my bill, and could i cancel my account so my card isnt overdrawn.

The beginning of your post looks good, where if you started on the 2dt then the 1st would be the first bill, but I don't quite understand the "chart" that you made.

The billing is 12.95 for one character with and additional $1.00 for each additional character after the first. so if you want three characters you pay $14.95.

So, for the first 30 days after you activate the game you do not pay a fee. Then the 1st, in your case, the money will be taken out of your account.

Now, for the billing, there is no way to manually pay the bill it just automatically gets billed to the credit company. This is one of the big gripes that FFXI players have had over the years, that there is no other way to pay the bill and if you overdraft, tough luck. You could stop the subscription before you get billed however if you know you will overdraft. So, if you get $25 dollars a month then you basically end up with $12.05 every month to do what you will.
