Anyone tune in to this?

Pretty disappointing if you ask me. Big Brown had the potential of winning the horse racing Triple Crown but he fell behind after the second turn and by the final furlong it was pretty much over.

It was pretty exciting though.

It would have been nice to see a Triple Crown winner for the first time in ages, but Big Brown's trainer is such a cocky git part of me kind of wanted him to get turned over. Once again the Belmont proves a bridge too far for a horse...

Eh, it seems like all the potential Triple Crown winning trainers are all gits in the end, what with their overconfidence and whatnot. :monster:

It'd be alright if he was a bit modest since Big Brown had that cracked hoof but...he wasn't.

And the Japanese horse that was supposed to be his main rival didn't even make the race!

That Triple Crown is pretty elusive, mind you at least there is still a chance of a horse winning it one day, the British version is never going to happen ever again XD

Honestly, I'm just glad it's over. Nothing against horse racing and those who enjoy it, but I was growing tired of hearing about Big Brown EVERY stinking time I tuned into Sports Center or decided to pick up the newspaper.

It's a shame he couldn't pull off the Triple Crown, but I'm not disappointed to see it all end.

lol, I like how a horse stole all the big headlines. Now it's time to think of a baseball triple crown. :wacky:

Baseball's triple crown works for me. Maybe Hamilton can pull it off this year.

But yeah, I kept on hearing how Big Brown was a hero with a competitor's spirit to match his huge heart.

Gimme a break. Big Brown is a horse. All he cares about is eating his bag o' oats and maybe getting a drink of water.

I like his name, though. Sounds like a name someone'd give to their turd...you know...if people named their poop.
