I have no doubt that your intentions are pure, however, its effects may not share the same quality. For example, simply telling off your offender in your own defense, when the thread clearly has a subject that is not about your bantering, you are doing no good. Sure, your ego is saved, but the forum is not.
Vincent, you're generally a good person, despite that pride and ego that I find terribly alienating. I'd hate to see you get in deeper trouble if you started out as a victim, and get punished even more just to save your own face.
What I'm trying to say is that you got to let things go. Sometimes, if not all the time, it isn't worth it.

If you want to help, report posts which seem offensive/wrong/n00bish. You don't need to be vocal, because it comes across as pseudo modding.

Abel and Sar both literally need bullets shot through their backsides. However, they point they make, however hard it may be to accept, is valid.
Vincent, sometimes it comes across that what you really want is a position in staff. We all know your intentions are pure, but it can seem as though you have your nose in the moderators backsides, so to speak. Don't take this an an accusatory post, I'm merely trying to show what some people may be getting at.
If you did want to truly make the forums better, report it quietly, rather than arguing on your own. It creates less spam for yourself, doesn't spur on other members to argue further and generally does make the forums better when the moderators appear.

In turn, if you read it, they were getting at me for defending you. Quite frankly, I don't care. I had it out with them on MSN, I said what I had to say and basically made them look stupid
