Are exclusives in NA version as bad as everyone says?

I've heard alot about how bad they are and I'm not sure because the One Winged Angel and Chaos blade seem to work well. I also have the entire Genji set which I thought was the best in the game but I just found out that the adamant set is better. Should I create exclusives? How do I get the Excalibur II and Adamant Set? How do I get tons of Megalixers, I know where they're at but I was wondering if theres an easy way to get them at Lunar Whale coarse.

Stardust Rod + Rod Adept grants 68 ATK and +25% Magic Damage...
Ragnarok + Greatsword Adept grants 70 ATK and +25 Physical Damage...
Many say that these are better than exclusives, but...
Who wouldn't want EX Mode Duration +40% for Gabranth or BRV Boost on Block and built-in Riposte for Exdeath?
You may want to use Stardust Rod on Kefka and others with bad exclusives. But some exclusives are better than these two I mentioned.
It's up to you. IMO you shouldn't replace your One-Winged Angel with Ragnarok, just stick with OWA!
Excalibur II is a VERY VERY VERY VERY RARE Item Drop from Blackjack Course enemies.
Adamant Set can easily be farmed from FuSoYa friend card. Check GameFaqs for the password.

Friend cards. Can someone explain this to me? I only have these incredibly easy Stiltzskin cards which I fight and nothing really happens. How do I get the adamant set once I type in the FuSoyA code? Sorry, Its my free period at school and they have Gamefaqs blocked so I'll have to do it somewhere with the internet.
