Arcade Issue : Space Invaders

Hey guys, I've an issue with Space Invaders. First I played, got 30,000 or something, high score didn't send through. Second time it went in okay.

Then I saw Adamant beat me, hence I went back. 120,000 something, high score didn't send through again. At this point I'm pissed, because hell, that is a tedious game and takes a lot of patience/time. I figured, alright, second time worked before. Went ahead, killed another hour and a half or so, high score didn't send through.

(I had a feeling my luck would shine like the sun before I died.)

So... Can we do something about this?
 
Not going to insult your intelligence, but just throwing out a random question here: Did you hit "Submit Score" right? Because it doesn'r automatically submit your score in until you tell it to.
 
Wow. The trust around here is amazing.

It's a game, honestly Adamant. Why would I go through such lengths as to edit a screen shot to jack the high score? That's no fun. So what would it take for you people to believe that I earned such a score? Must I set up my webcam and show you? This is pathetic.

BustaMo, Space Invaders is a game that automatically submits your score. However, after I died, the screen went to this blank display of "Space Invaders," no options to click; like it froze.


 
I don't distrust you, I just know numerous examples of people who HAVE cheated in the past because of this, and am advising you now that this is probably not the best way to get things done if you want to prove your score.

Actually, it probably is, but like Congress, there is no easy way to change ANYTHING in the Arcade, short of getting some actual game logs... there's really no reason I couldn't just post a thread saying I had gotten a million points, as you saw above.
 
Which leads us back to square one. How do I get my high score up there? The game clearly won't allow me to "get some actual game logs" and you've already made it clear you don't trust my screen shots. I've already taken around 3 hours to beat your score twice and have nothing to show for it: what is to say another trial of an hour and a half won't have the same results?
 
You do know that it's generally accepted that Spaced Invaders is the most screwed up game in the arcade, right? I probably would have gotten well over 100K if I hadn't mysteriously died with no explanation when I still had 5 lives left. This has happened to multiple people, including Mieks and GM. This sounds more like an issue with the game itself than with FFF.
 
I'm figuring that this is an old version of the game that we have on FFF. It doesn't make any sense that the boards would be responsible for the problems, but you never know...
 
Well, there's nothing much I can do about it since it's an issue with the game itself, as Ambiguity said, but I'd be happy to report it to the author of the game and that's about it.
