The job of a News reporter entails trolling the intarwebs and various magazines to bring us the latest and greatest of gaming news. We're looking for someone who is an active, dedicated, positive member who is willing to volunteer to keep us up-to-date with Square Enix news!

Requirements:
  • Must be a active member.
  • Must have excellent grammar and spelling.

Application Template:
  1. How often do you visit FFF?
  2. How often do you post per day/week?
  3. Which video game news sites do you often visit?
  4. What gaming magazines do you read?
  5. Can you read in Japanese? If so how well?
  6. Which Final fantasy games have you played?
  7. Which Square Enix games have you played besides Final Fantasy?

Application Deadline:
  • January 16th, 2008.

F.A.Q:
  1. What if I become a News reporter for FFF?

Your name will be in orange such as this: News Reporter with the title FFF Assistant.

You will have access to a part of the forums were you can discuss with moderators and administrators about the News section. You will not have access to any staff sections or have any moderating capabilities throughout the rest of the forums.
  2. Do I get moderator powers?

No you don't. You're a regular member who has the ability to create new threads in Square Enix News.
  3. As a News Reporter do I JUST cover Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts?

No, as a News Reporter you can submit any major Square Enix game such as Infinity Undiscovery for example.
  4. How fast do you want this news to be reported?

    As soon as possible! =D
  5. How professional should the news look?

Ideally, there should be a small summary of the story with a link to further information, and the source of the information in cases where the source is not the link for further information.
  6. How do I submit my application?

If you can read this FAQ, you should also be able to see the sub-forum where your application will be posted.

You will post a new thread in the sub-forum, with the proper prefix (hint: same as this thread) in the title.

You will copy/paste the application outlined in the Application Template section and hit shift-enter to produce a new line, twice, before writing your answer below each question.

You will check back on your thread at regular intervals to see when staff has replied to your thread and answer them if they have further questions.

When your application has been judged, it will be closed with a response from staff whether or not you have been accepted.
PMing any member of staff or asking in the application thread whether or not you have been accepted will immediately disqualify you.
Further Questions:
  • Please PM a Global Moderator or Administrator with your questions.
