Anyone more excited about Versus XIII?

Fact: If Ifrit is not in it then it's going to be a bad FF.
But seriously I think anything is better than FFXIII so yeah...
 
Above post summed it up; anything has to be better than the FFXIII disaster.

I can't say I'm overly excited about Versus XIII anymore, 6 years in development is totally ridiculous considering when Versus XIII is eventually released, the following year a company is bound to make another new AAA title to blow us away and Versus XIII will be forgotten about. It's happened pretty much every year for a good few years now.

And the lack of news about Versus XIII is dreadful.
 
As soon as i saw Noctis i just knew Versus was gona be absolutely epic compared to 13, with 13 i just took one good look at the characters and summons and thought w-t-f this does not look good, hence my lack of surprise when i saw the game get crucified by most FF fans. But Versus 13 definitely looks promising, im just annoyed it's only for PS3.

Actually I am looking forward to agaito more than versus for some reason,from playing FFXIII itself, Im kinda scared versus will be similar to it as in game play style at least agaito is to be a more fighting like game,from what I hear, so...im placing my bets on that.

I must admit I agree. I am kind of hoping that if I do get it, I don't have the same experience as with XIII. I loved XIII, but I really want it to be different from Versus. I want a different feel. Even if the battle systems or whatever else people didn't like are the same, I am just hoping even for just a different feel. But as they are still working on it (it seems), maybe they have time to pay attention to previous complaints? Not sure how game developing works.
 
I'm kind of pessimestic and not really hopeful over versus at the moment. XIII was really bad and XIII-2 is just even more bad news, and I don't think that SE are working as well as they used to. Plus I don't really have a ps3, so it kinds of takes away half off the excitement lacking the right console to play it on. If it was on the X- box 360 too, I might be more excited. I like Stella though, she seems really cool, and I'm hyped up about this new dragoon knight character too.
