Whenever I haven't played a certain FF game for two weeks, and I just happen to listen to a song from it, I instantly gain all the intrest I had in the game again.

Like, I finished FFVIII (I've lost count how many times I've done it now) a few weeks ago. Now I'm listening to The Oath, and I so badly want to play it. But Im forcing myself through FFVII for the hell of it.

I don't consider that to be a "problem" at all. But, yes, the same thing happens to me. As soon as I hear, say the main battle theme from FFVII or something I immediately gaze longingly at my copy of FFVII, wishing that I had time to throw that in and just beat it in one complete sit through.

Yes...and No

Yes because recently ive been listening to a load of FFVII music - and since Ivy/Tanya has got my FFVII - ive been really tempted to watch AC ^_^ but it doesnt have the magic that is Orchestrated Aeriths theme....

and no - because although i really DETEST FFVIII i Adore the music - especially Sorceress Edeas parade (forget its full name) and the fantastic liberi Fatali - but ive really had no urge whatsoever to pick up FFVIII again.

And like Omni said - i dont consider it a problem either :P

I have to say I don't have that problem as such. The main reason is perhaps because I've got so damn much game music as it is, that it's rare enough for a Final Fantasy track to pop up when I'm listening. If I had notions like that I'd be constantly scattered as to which game to play ( which I already am to some degree, best not to make matters worse! ). That, and there's music I prefer to Final Fantasy music, old Sega tracks for the win!

Eh, I just call it a 'problem' because I really want to play it.. But then I know as soon as I pop the CD in, I'll get bored. And so I sit in my chair thinking about all the good times I had playing it, and I waste a lot of time just thinking about it, when I could be doing somthing productive.
