Agreed. "Equal opportunities" itself is a farce. Rather than have quotas which tell you that you must have a diverse range of employees, not neccessarily the most suitable... there should be no minority/disability quotas. Rather, there should be a commitment to quality rather than "equality". People should be employed based on skill and suitability rather than race, definitely. Quotas are rather counterproductive, in that people can get special treatment based on their race and disabilities. Someone without the use of their legs isn't exactly the most suitable front line police officer.
Rather than trying to get every perceivable minority into every sort of job, even those that they are not suited for, they should instead be given de jure equality, and treated with due respect, not neccessarily given special treatment.
