An awesome idea for an FF7 game

Hey this is an idea i had ages ago it's for the Wii and you play as Reno and is like a combination of Oblivion, Red Steel and Grandtheft Auto in that you have complete freedom, you could follow the story line or quit being a Turk and do such obscure things as start up a Chocobo farm.
For the fight system it's like Red Steel in that you move with the Nunchucku extension and the original to attack with your Baton thingy and the D pad and A button to peform kick combos.
As i said you have complete freedom to do all you want (you can even steal cars and go on killing sprees) I think its a good idea, but im more interested in wat you think

It sounds more clunky than an actual good FF game. It will probably turn out like Dirge of Cerberus. I like the concept of it, but it would be better if you could create your own character and enter the world to choose what you would be. Giving it more of that FF feel.

As for vehicles, none. Sure, you can have airships, but that is about it. Heh. It would be quite funny to see a Chocobo jacking, though.

Here's another idea if I may, how bout trying the idea that FF7 had its moment in the sun and just play oblivion or red steel.
 
You created double threads for this topic. Just because it relates to more than one section of the forums doesn't mean you can go making multiple threads. I kept the one in FFVII section open because it seemed more of the right place for it.
