the ending isn't all that good, it isn't even a FMV, you shouldn't break your back or eyes or fingers over it

TBH That was boring...really isn't worth it if you're trying to get 100% just to see it.

I'm only in the 70's range for completion mainly because I just wanted the basic story and to complete it when it first came out. I haven't touched the game since january of 2005 so eventually I will go back and get 100% (with the guide no doubt), but I have already seen the 100% perfect ending on YouTube. Cool ending IMO.
I managed to luck out and get 100% completion after a couple of attempts, but its truly a pain in the a** to get. However, I felt the perfect ending was worth it.
If you end up giving it another try, my advice is to follow a guide very closely and save your game in several spots. If the guide says after said mission that you'll be 19.2% complete and the game tells you "mission complete 19.2%", save your game and do not save over that file. Trust me, you will get to a certain point in the game where the guide will tell you a certain % and the game will say a different % after said mission. In short, with the loads of missions in this game, it's inevitable not to mess one up.

You must keep in mind as well there is a section of the game where that old man talks, the one who talks a few times and you find him in a camp right before the battle against sinspawn begins. You MUST let him talk and not push any buttons to hurry him up, it takes about 5 mins for him to finish talking, for if you dont you lose half a percent of finishing the game right there.

I HAVE GOT TO GET THAT 100%!!!
This is the first time I have ever seen the perfect ending. Never got past 95%.
This completely changes my outlook of X-2. Still could have brought him back sooner.
