What is an Avatar?

An avatar is a profile/mugshot type of graphic usually 100x100 pixels in dimensions that appears in the left under your username and replaces "I don't want to use an avatar -- no avatar selected".

How to make and use an Avatar
Create a 100x100 image in your favorite imaging program and put what you want to have in it. Save it as either a .jpg or .gif. Click on "User CP" in the top navigation bar and choose the "Edit Avatar" option, or click on "Quick Links" and choose "Edit Avatar". Now choose the custom avatar option and upload your avatar.

I'm no good at making an avatar/I don't know what I want in my avatar. Is there someone who can make me an avatar?

Restrictions:

About Signatures and how to add one

What can I put in my Signature?

You may put links, texts, graphics, etc. in your signature. The only restriction you may have for a signature graphic is that it must be 500x200 in dimensions or smaller. This can be your favorite quote, a banner with your favorite characters, links to your favorite websites, etc.

How do I make a Signature graphic?
Open your favorite imaging program and create a graphic 500x200 pixels in dimensions or smaller. Now put in what you want to have in your signature graphic and save it as a .gif or .jpg.

I'm no good at this/I don't know what I want in my signature graphic. Can someone do this for me?

-Direct linking to FFF.net images

Depending on how severely your signature violates the rules, you may be asked by a moderator to remove it or change it, or even warned and manually removed.

Please remember that signatures should be no more than 500x200 pixels in dimension. If you use Firefox, you can easily measure the dimensions of your signature. (Firefox MeasureIt Extension)

Depending on what usergroup you are in, you may or may not be able to add certain things to your signature.

Character Limit
- Junior Members, Members - 200 chars, 5 lines [2 blank]
- Full Members, Members - 500 chars, 12 lines [3 blank]
