who has heard of the abhorsen series? what do you think of it? the series consists of 3 books (sabriel, leriel, and abhorsen), the series is relly good. (but if you haven't read the series yet, then read the f**king series.)!

I read this series a while back, and as with most books I read lately.. I want more. Also, it's Lirael, not Leriel.
But yeah. Awesome series. The magic concepts in it are rather different than most of what I've read, and there's some nice twists, especially in Lirael. I won't spoil anything here, but anyone who hasn't read this and likes darker fantasy... I would go for it.
They're written by Garth Nix, by the way.

The books are amazing--some of my favorite, actually. I'm so excited that people actually know what it is! 
We were required to read Sabriel my sophomore year of high school, and it was the best thing they ever made me read. I love Lirael (even though I was mad at first because it wasn't Sabriel). I love the sort of mysterious atmosphere about the whole thing, and I love Nicholas Sayre~! -- Oh dear... I started a rant, didn't I? Ahem! Yes, I know the books, and yes, I love them!
