Original A Short Scene

I'm liking this a lot.

Would I be correct in assuming that this is set in the future? some of the words you use gave me that impression.

Any-who I've nothing to comment on with regards to spelling or grammar. It all looks fine to me.

It was really set in the present but I find it very interesting you thought otherwise. May I ask what part of it brought this on?
 
This line in particular put me in mind of a futuristic setting: "All zooming, this way and that around each other to reach one goal, the metropolis city of Chicago."

But now that you've mentioned it and I've read through some of it again, it does seem pretty obvious that it's not set in the future. :P
