I can't believe there isn't an official topic to the National Hockey League (or even the AHL, or International Hockey League). I wanted to see how many fellower forum members watch any kind of hockey during the season. If so, then you can answer some questions if you want to!

1. Which do you prefer to watch: NHL, AHL, or International?

2. Whose your favorite team?

3. Have you ever been to any professional hockey games?

4. When did you first get into hockey?

And finally:

For those who watch the NHL...:
5. Who do YOU think is going to win the Stanley Cup this season?

1. Which do you prefer to watch: NHL, AHL, or International?

The National Hockey League, but if I see colleges play on TV, I'll watch. Also, my sister, stepdad, and brother have played hockey quite a few times, and I go to watch them whenever I get a chance.

2. Whose your favorite team?

The good old Buffalo Sabres.

3. Have you ever been to any professional hockey games?

I've been to probably about three professional hockey games. I can only remember the second game I went to, which was in 2002, I believe. The last game I ever went to was back in 2003. Toronto Maple Leafs vs Buffalo Sabres. We won that game, so the drunk Maple Leafs fans were pretty ticked. I'm going again on my birthday, though!

4. When did you first get into hockey?

I've been on and off since I was about six, but just recently began getting into it again. Now, I can never shut up about hockey.

5. Who do YOU think is going to win the Stanley Cup this season?

Of course I'm going to say the Buffalo Sabres. After our 10-0 streak at the beginning of the season, I feel we deserve this, though we're kind of at a rollercoastering point at this moment. Still the best in our conference, just above the Habs!
If the Sabres didn't get to the Finals, I would think that either the Habs would win the cup, or the Ducks. Both have been doing pretty amazing this season, and I think they deserve it as well.

If there was a topic like this anywhere else, then I'm sorry. D: I just had no idea if you had previously deleted a topic like this or what.

1. NHL

2. San Jose Sharks

3. Been to many including 2 years of season tickets. Also going to the game tomorrow.

4. Hmm... I first got into hockey when I went ice skating and played hockey for the first time. I was probably 8 or 9.

5. Well I have to say the SJ Sharks. But Buffalo definately does seem like the team to beat in the NHL right now. :\

When you say hockey, do you mean ice-hockey or turf hockey? Because I know the USA and the UK differ in terms.

1. Which do you prefer to watch: NHL, AHL, or International?
International, because you don't get NHL or AHL over here. Although I did watch a couple of ice-hockey games on T.V late at night/early in the morning played in the States. Still, international for me, purely because I'm more familiar with it.

2. Whose your favorite team?
The England hockey team, naturally. I'm patriotic, what can I say? Yeah, we don't have anything after our name, like the England Lions or anything. It's just...The England hockey team. xD At least, I think that's how it is. Hmm...

3. Have you ever been to any professional hockey games?
Nope. Hockey is just not popular over here, which sucks with a chefs salad. -_- If you want to see a professional game it would have to be on an international level, because you don't hear of any hockey within the actual country. Like region matches [sort of like states].

4. When did you first get into hockey?
I've been playing for a long, make that, a very long time. When I was young I just used to dribble a ball around the street with my stick. When I was about...8 or 9 I started playing properly. I've been playing ever since. :]

Sadly, I don't get to watch the NHL. <_<

NHL

Red Wings all the way

Yes I have been to a few Pro games. I used to live in Cali, so I saw the
Mighty Ducks countless times, I live in OK, so I drive out to watch the Dallas Stars play every once in a while, I also went to the 2002 All-Star Game.

I have been into hockey about my whole life, I have played it since I was 4. I played Roller Hockey, and Ice Hockey, I played on the Varsity High School team for 4 years, and I have played on 3 different Travel Teams.

So far I'm thinking that the Sabres are going strong, but I'm always cheering for the Wings.

ah hockey, the Canadian game...fast paced, rough, exciting

i would have to say that the NHL is my favorite, but if there's hockey on(any league) i will watch it

and my team would have to be Buffalo, there top notch this year
and Calgary, had to pick on Canadian franchise

I've never scene any NHL games, we only get two preseason games a year where I'm from, but i used to be an avid Halifax moosehead fan when i was younger, and has scene countless games in my time

I've been a hockey fan my whole life basically

and if i had to pick a cup winner i would put money on the sabres

GO SABRES!!!! I love the Sabres, and it's about time that we're actually doing well!!

The last game that I've been to must've been around the time we had Hasek and went to the cup. I'm going to a Sabres/Devils game in March.
