Just found this site that's doing a "7 days of Final Fantasy" feature starting today with Final Fantasy 7. They also have this really interesting video they did that recaps the whole series.

That's pretty cool but why are they doing it exactly? Are they doing it for FFXIII? Or just doing it to do it...?

That's nice of them to allow us to venture through the games we have already played. Nice of them to show appreciation for the games that changed the series as well as the newer games. Can't wait for the FFXIII addition.

Yeah it's to lead up to Final Fantasy XIII. Since it's been so many years since the last game, they figured it would be nice to brush up on the rest of the series.
